Have you ever heard something so fresh and intriguing on the radio or social media that it immediately caught your attention? One of those moments for me was when I heard this piece called 'Executive' composed by Michele Mangani which inspired me to pick-up my clarinet again and getting back on path. His music sounded like a scene from a Hollywood movie that summarized my life’s journey in a flash!
Intermezzo is a term often used in opera, referring to a musical interlude or a pause between acts. It's a fitting metaphor because early in my career, I had to take a pause from performing to focus on raising my children and caring for my family. As the years went by, I wondered if or when I'd ever return to the stage.
But during this interlude, something extraordinary happened. I discovered Michele Mangani’s music, and his music resonated deeply with me. "I want to play that!" was my immediate reaction, and it reignited my passion, motivating me to pick up my clarinet and start practicing again.

VIDEOS FROM INTERMEZZO
"By letting go of perfectionism and embracing life beyond music, I discovered the value of self-care and reintegrating with life in a more holistic way. This period of growth ultimately led me back to music, refreshed, rejuvenated and with a renewed sense of purpose."
- Seunghee Lee
“Intermezzo is one of the most pleasant releases to cross my path in quite some time. Highly recommended to those who love melody.”
